Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: April 2026
1. Accessibility Statement
Appuix, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating as FundMySBA.ai, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
2. Conformance Status
FundMySBA.ai is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and, in doing so, adhere to the available standards and guidelines.
We aim to meet the following WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria:
- Perceivable: Information and user interface components are presentable to users in ways they can perceive, including text alternatives for non-text content, captions and alternatives for multimedia, content that can be presented in different ways without losing meaning, and content that is easy to see and hear.
- Operable: User interface components and navigation are operable, including keyboard accessibility, sufficient time for users to read and use content, content that does not cause seizures or physical reactions, and navigable content with clear wayfinding.
- Understandable: Information and the operation of the user interface are understandable, including readable and predictable text, input assistance, and consistent navigation.
- Robust: Content is robust enough that it can be interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.
3. Technical Specifications
The accessibility of FundMySBA.ai relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:
- HTML5: Semantic markup for document structure, including proper use of headings, lists, landmarks, and other structural elements
- WAI-ARIA: Accessible Rich Internet Applications landmarks and attributes to enhance the accessibility of dynamic content and interactive components
- CSS: Cascading Style Sheets for visual presentation, with responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and user preferences
- JavaScript: Progressive enhancement ensuring core content and functionality are available without JavaScript where possible
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
4. Accessibility Features
We have implemented the following accessibility features across FundMySBA.ai:
4.1 Structure and Navigation
- Language Attribute: The
langattribute is set on the HTML element to identify the page language, enabling screen readers to use the correct pronunciation - Semantic Headings: A logical heading hierarchy (h1 through h6) is used throughout all pages to convey document structure and enable efficient navigation via screen readers
- Skip Navigation: Skip-to-content links are provided to allow keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation and jump directly to the main content area
- ARIA Landmarks: ARIA landmark roles (banner, navigation, main, contentinfo) are used to identify page regions, making it easier for assistive technology users to navigate
4.2 Visual Design
- Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements
- Text Alternatives: All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes so they are ignored by screen readers
- Responsive Design: The website is fully responsive and supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality, accommodating users who need to enlarge text or use mobile devices
- No Color-Only Indicators: Information is not conveyed by color alone; additional visual cues such as text labels, patterns, or icons are provided
4.3 Keyboard Accessibility
- Full Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements, including links, buttons, and form fields, are accessible via keyboard using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and arrow keys
- Visible Focus Indicators: Clear, visible focus indicators are displayed on all interactive elements when navigated via keyboard, ensuring users always know where they are on the page
- Logical Tab Order: The tab order follows a logical reading sequence that matches the visual layout of the page
4.4 Forms and Input
- Form Labels: All form fields have associated labels using the
labelelement oraria-labelattributes, ensuring screen readers can identify the purpose of each field - Error Identification: Form validation errors are clearly identified in text, associated with the relevant form field, and announced to screen readers. Error messages describe the issue and suggest how to correct it
- Input Purpose: Autocomplete attributes are used where applicable to help users fill in forms more efficiently, particularly benefiting users with cognitive disabilities or motor impairments
5. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of FundMySBA.ai, there may be some limitations. The following is a description of known limitations and potential solutions:
- Third-Party Content: Some third-party widgets, embedded content, or integrations (such as analytics tools, advertising components, or external lending partner forms) may not be fully accessible. We do not have direct control over third-party content but actively work with our partners to improve accessibility where possible.
- PDF Documents: Some downloadable PDF documents may not yet be fully accessible. We are working to remediate existing documents and ensure all new documents meet accessibility standards. If you need information from a PDF in an accessible format, please contact us.
- Dynamic Content: Some dynamically loaded content may not be immediately announced by all screen readers. We are actively improving ARIA live region implementations to address this.
- Legacy Content: Older blog posts or pages created before our current accessibility standards were adopted may contain accessibility gaps. We are progressively remediating this content.
We are committed to addressing these limitations and welcome your feedback to help us improve.
